The Hornsby Shire Over 55s Advocacy Group is made up of key leaders from groups and organizations representing people over 55 years, living in the Hornsby Shire, and works in partnership with Hornsby Shire Council to improve on services and facilities. The Committee produces a regular newsletter called
‘Mature Matters’
runs workshops, plans and lobbies for the future of Hornsby Shire
We are a "not for profit" group of volunteers, over 55, who live in, or, who are closely associated with
Hornsby Shire Council Community Services, whose main areas of interest are:-

An Over 55's plan
It is hoped that this Website can:-

JOIN OUR GROUP- HELP US TO ASSIST ALL OVER 55's TO FIND LOCAL INFORMATION, QUICKLY AND EASILY, USING COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY - ENRICHING THE LIVES OF PEOPLE OVER 55, SHARING WISDOM AND ASSISTING THOSE FROM VARIOUS DIFFERENT CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS TO BECOME INTEGRATED WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY
Men and women over 55 are becoming a large percentage of Internet 'Surfers', and are growing in number every year.
The Hornsby Shire Seniors Advocacy Group also offers older members of our Community, a wide variety of opportunities to either become involved, by volunteering your help, or, in participating in the variety of programme's offered, of which there are many.

A University degree is not a requirement , only a willing spirit, so do your bit for your community.
